This is the most ambitious and complete work of my career where I explore new horizons in music and words. A new beginning, a new vocabulary.

I wanted this work to be original, timeless and meaningful.

The lyrics I wrote portray my feelings, some more lively and others more nostalgic. There is a certain spirituality and existentialism in each of the songs. A “mixed bag“ of different ideas.

In musical terms, the album explores a variety of styles, not only mixing electronic dance music with elements of alternative rock in some of the themes, but also themes closer to industrial rock, new wave, metal / alternative rock or even in the territories closer to prog rock, with an unique aesthetic.

When creating the new songs I was inspired by the albums “Electro Glide In Blue” by Apollo 440, “Fat Of The Land” by The Prodigy and “Odelay!” by Beck (produced by The Dust Brothers) in terms of dynamics, track listing and style. As for other influences, I was inspired by the works of The Cure, The Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, R.E.M., Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Tool, Deftones and New Order. Some parts of the song “Game Over Man” were inspired by the works of 2 Unlimited.
Some songs on my new album were also inspired by the work that U2 did in the 1990s (on albums like “Achtung Baby”). The theme “Dark Invasion” was inspired by Radiohead’s “OK Computer”. The prog rock theme “Goon City” was particularly inspired by the work of Pink Floyd and King Crimson (a little bit of Genesis, in the Peter Gabriel era, too).

Recordings, mixing, production and mastering were done using Pro Tools Artist software (version 2022.12.0).

The album cover, made by me, captures my nostalgic dreams of when I was a PS1 player in my childhood. I was impressed by the psychedelic and at the same time “futuristic” aesthetics. Not only the cover but also the music reflect the same level of effect. The cover is a very significant juxtaposition to the music, where you can feel this aesthetic. The idea is to express how you feel about music.

All voices and instruments were performed by me.
